Parents and Friends Association (P&F)
On behalf of our St Mary’s parent community, we welcome you and your family and look forward to getting to know you.
At our school, the P&F promotes friendship networks and community spirit within the school as well as supporting the school by fundraising to purchase resources and equipment.
At St Mary’s the P&F aim to foster a cooperative and supportive community made up of the school families, the principal, the parish, the teachers and the students. We do this by: Creating events where parents and friends of our school can come together to have fun. Fundraising for our school. Money raised currently goes towards playground
improvements and school resources etc requested by our Principal, Kerrie Basha and the staff.
Being a conduit for passing on the views of school parents to the School and providing
information about our school community and our children's’ education.
As parents of students at the school, you are automatically a member of the P&F and are welcome to attend our meetings and/or support a variety of planned activities throughout the year.
This year we will be holding two meetings most months. This is a new initiative where we hope to be able to have more families involved and extend the friendship with a Friday morning meeting and an evening/weekend meeting. You do not need to attend both but opening more opportunities for families to be involved. We usually hold these at a separate location to the school in a relaxed environment
